While it might seem easy to rinse out your bins with a hose, doing so yourself can actually break California environmental laws. Storm drains do not lead to treatment plants, so anything you rinse off could flow into local creeks, rivers, or even the ocean. That contaminated water carries bacteria and waste into the environment. Bin Buddies uses a fully contained, eco-safe cleaning system that filters and properly disposes of all wastewater.
Yes. Your garbage bins can hold more than 150 kinds of harmful bacteria, yet they are one of the most ignored items on your property. Most of us clean our bathrooms regularly, but rarely give the same attention to the bins we touch several times a month. If your toilet looked like your bin, you would not ignore it.
We typically arrive the day after your trash pickup. If your garbage schedule shifts or our trucks encounter delays, we adjust accordingly. If you need to use your bin before cleaning, just leave a tied garbage bag inside. We will remove it, clean the bin, and place the bag back when we finish. For HOAs, we work with community rules to set a cleaning day that fits.
